Dramatic Changes Ahead in Europe - conversation with Eldad Beck
18:00 - 19:00
We invite you to a live video briefing with
Israel Hayom’s Berlin-based correspondent
Slowly emerging from the coronavirus pandemic and its ensuing economic crisis, Europe faces a series of elections in key European countries which could dramatically shift the continent’s political trajectory. Who will emerge as Germany’s new chancellor in the fall, with Angela Merkel retiring after 16 years in power? Could French President Macron’s far-right foe Marine Le Pen endanger his chances for re-election next spring?
Eldad Beck, a prominent Israeli journalist and Berlin-based Europe correspondent for Israel Hayom, will join us to discuss the possible changes ahead in Europe in the upcoming months. He will also share his perspective on how these political shifts could affect European foreign policy and relations with Israel and the United States.
Eldad Beck is a prominent Israeli journalist, author, and Berlin-based correspondent for Israel Hayom, covering Germany, Central Europe, and the EU.
