DR MAJID AL SARRAH is a visiting lecturer in Public Policy and Legislation at the American University of Sharjah, who has been previously described as a regional “expert in public policy“ by the London School of Economics. He serves as a legal adviser in in the field of aviation policy.
DR NAJAT AL SAIED was formerly a researcher at the Emirates Centre for Strategic Studies and Research (ECSSR) in Abu Dhabi, and holds a PhD in Media Studies from the University of Westminster. She is a columnist for Al Itttihad, a daily Arabic language newspaper published in the UAE.
DR NIR BOMS is an Israeli research fellow at the Moshe Dayan Center at Tel Aviv University. He was formerly Vice President of the Washington DC based Foundation for the Defence of Democracies (FDD). He is the author of ‚Expat-ing Democracy: Dissidents, Technology and Democratic Discourse in the Middle East‘ (Bern, 2017).
