 AJID AL SARRAH is a visiting lecturer in Public Policy and Legislation at 
 the American University of Sharjah\, who has been previously described as 
 a regional ''expert in public policy'' by the London School of Economics. 
 He serves as a legal adviser in in the field of aviation policy.\nDR NAJAT
  AL SAIED was formerly a researcher at the Emirates Centre for Strategic S
 tudies and Research (ECSSR) in Abu Dhabi\, and holds a PhD in Media Studie
 s from the University of Westminster. She is a columnist for Al Itttihad\,
  a daily Arabic language newspaper published in the UAE.\nDR NIR BOMS is a
 n Israeli research fellow at the Moshe Dayan Center at Tel Aviv University
 . He was formerly Vice President of the Washington DC based Foundation for
  the Defence of Democracies (FDD). He is the author of 'Expat-ing Democrac
 y: Dissidents\, Technology and Democratic Discourse in the Middle East' (B
