a webinar discussion with Steven Zipperstein on “Law and the Arab–Israeli Conflict – The Trials of Palestine”

Steven Zipperstein has written a book about the major trials and inquiries during the Palestinian mandate (1922–1948), and how the law and lawyers were utilised by all sides (Arab, Jewish and British) to further their own objectives. Zipperstein’s fascinating research into seminal cases of the period sheds important light on the critical events and motivations of the parties which resulted in today’s maps and disputes.

Zipperstein will be in conversation with Jacob Turner, barrister and author, of Fountain Court Chambers, London.
