  is considered one of Israel’s leading experts on Iran. The journalist\,
  author and analyst of Middle East affairs is a research fellow at the Jer
 usalem Institute for Strategy and Security (JISS) and the founder and dire
 ctor of the Middle East Center for Reporting and Analysis (MECRA). Spyer's
