DESCRIPTION:Gegenkundgebung anlässlich der antisemitischen Demonstrationen
  in Wien\nImmer wenn der Konflikt im Nahen Osten eskaliert\, macht sich de
 r Antisemitismus in Europa verstärkt bemerkbar. Vergangenen Mittwoch besu
 chten ca. 1.000 Menschen eine antisemitische Demonstration auf der Mariahi
 lferstraße\, organisiert von „BDS Austria“\, der „Antiimperialistis
 chen Koordination“ und „Dar-al-Janub“.\nAuf der Demonstration kam es
  zu massiven antisemitischen Sprechchören\, darunter: „Chaiber\, Chaibe
 r [antisemitisches Massaker] oh ihr Juden\, Mohammeds Heer kommt bald wied
 er.“\nTeilnehmer:innen trugen Hamas-Fahnen\, antisemitische Transparente
  mit Holocaust-Relativierungen\, Aufrufe den Tempelberg zu erobern\, Israe
 l und Tel-Aviv auszulöschen und Ikonographien der Terroristin Leila Chale
 d. Seitens der Organisator:innen wurde offen zur Intifada aufgerufen\, als
 o zur Gewalt gegen Israel. Die vom österreichischen Parlament als antisem
 itisch bewertete BDS rief zum totalen Boykott des Jüdischen Staates auf.\
 nAm Samstag den 15.05.2021 wollen dieselben Gruppen abermals auf die Stra
 ße gehen\, um ihrer antisemitischen Hetze freien Lauf zu lassen. Wir werd
 en das nicht zulassen\, und rufen daher zu einer Gegenkundgebung gegen jed
 en Antisemitismus um 17.00 Uhr am Herbert-von-Karajan-Platz auf!\nWir steh
 en für Frieden und Koexistenz und sind gegen die Hausräumungen in Ostje
 rusalem\, aber wir sind auch gegen die gewalttätigen Ausschreitungen seit
 ens der Demonstrant:innen. Zudem verurteilen wir in aller Deutlichkeit die
  kriegerische Eskalation der Hamas\, die innerhalb kürzester Zeit über 
 2000 Raketen auf zivile Gebiete in Israel geschossen hat.\nDer Konflikt im
  Nahen Osten darf nicht dazu instrumentalisiert werden\, den Antisemitismu
 s in Europa zu befeuern. Selbstverständlich hat jeder Mensch das Recht\, 
 sich über israelische Politik kritisch zu äußern und gegen diese zu dem
 onstrieren\, jedoch darf dies keinesfalls mit antisemitischen Organisation
 en und Botschaften einhergehen.\nDem wollen wir gemeinsam entschieden entg

 ration against the antisemitic demonstrations in Vienna.\nWhenever the con
 flict in the Middle East escalates\, antisemitism becomes more noticeable 
 in Europe. Last Wednesday around 1\,000 people attended an antisemitic dem
 onstration on Mariahilferstrasse\, organized by “BDS Austria”\, the 
 “Anti-Imperialist Coordination” and “Dar-al-Janub”.\nThere were nu
 merous antisemitic chants at the demonstration\, including: "Chaiber\, Cha
 iber [antisemitic massacre] oh you Jews\, Mohammed's army is coming back s
 oon."\nParticipants carried Hamas flags\, antisemitic banners with Holocau
 st relativization\, calls to conquer the Temple Mount\, wipe out Israel an
 d Tel Aviv and iconographies of the terrorist Leila Chaled. The organizers
  openly called for an Intifada\, that is\, violence against Israel. The BD
 S\, rated as antisemitic by the Austrian parliament\, called for a total b
 oycott of the Jewish state.\nOn Saturday\, May 15th\, 2021 the same groups
  want to take to the streets again to let their antisemitic agitation run 
 free. We will not allow that\, and therefore call for a counter demonstrat
 ion against all antisemitism at 5 p.m. on Herbert-von-Karajan-Platz!\nWe s
 tand for peace and coexistence and are against the evictions in East Jerus
 alem\, but we are also against violent riots. We also clearly condemn the 
 warlike escalation of Hamas\, which fired over 2\,000 rockets into civilia
 n areas in Israel within a very short period of time.\nThe conflict in the
  Middle East must not be used to fuel antisemitism in Europe. Of course\, 
 everyone has the right to express themselves critically about Israeli poli
 cies and to demonstrate against them\, but this must in no way be accompan
 ied by antisemitic organizations and motives.\nWe want to take decisive ac
 tion against this together!\nBoycott antisemitism!\nOrganizers:\n- Union o
